Paper Cuts

To say Matt Shlian takes paper and vellum to the fine art level would be an understatement. With a background and interest in engineering, Matt is more interested in the process of making his art than the final product. Not only does he make hanging installations, but he also makes flip books and even wearable creations. If interested, one can even take his paper engineering class where he clues students into his domain. This work is incredibly bold, and takes paper art from "crafty" to extraordinary.
