Explore!

We cannot get over how beautiful everything is from Plumo! They put so much thought into their designs and patterns. Each item has an interesting background story because of their initial inspiration: Modern Nomads, Urban Classics, and Modern Scandinavian.

Lace Links

lacefence

To think that something so delicate and beautiful is made of something as hard as metal is utterly incredible. Dutch Design House Demakersvan takes the sweet and antiquated look of lace and takes it to the fine art level by manipulating metal fabric into intricate patterns. These ordinary harsh chain link fences now act as functional art.

GLOS yourself

Sami Fox-Rooftop Jungle
GLOS Design hosted a pattern design contest called "Design Your Line," that opened a few weeks ago to design students. I submitted four of my favorite hand drawn patterns to see if anything would come of it. Yesterday I found out that one of my designs won!! They chose ten winners out of 200 submissions to be featured on their website coming in the new year to be part of a new GLOS 2011 collection. So don't miss the opportunity to buy my Rooftop Jungle pattern design to decorate your house with! Congratulations to all of the Glos pattern contest winners!

Feltified

Felt Wallpaper? Selina Rose makes it work. These 3D patterns bring wallpaper to a completely different dimension, literally. The pop of color is a perfect complement for the positive, negative space that the cutouts create. Use your senses, and don't be scared to go and touch the wall, no finger prints included.

Hide and Seek

Inspired by the dreamy wallpaper prints of Florence Broadhurst, Emma Hack takes a woman's body [or even an animal or two] and immerses her into the print. She strategically hand paints the pattern onto the body to camouflage the figure while simultaneously highlighting the natural curves of the female body. In a word: incredible.

Spin the Wheel

Etsy is filled with so many inspirational patterns. While searching today I found Cinderelish store. The artist's work is handmade in her home studio. Her patterns and colors are so organic and vibrant and fit nicely with the handmade quality.
